My name is Brittany Davis, but you can call me Britt. I am passionate about creating a happy, healthy, and organized home for my family, and I want to help you do the same.
I was an elementary teacher for ten years, but recently left my job to become a stay-at-home, homeschool mama. I also recently started teaching at home online. But the “job” I love most is being a wife, mommy, and homemaker. My husband, Brandon, is a firefighter and owns and operates a carpet cleaning business in his free time. I have two sweet little boys – Jackson-6 and Jase-3. We have a dog named Daisy, lots of chickens, and bees! Our little homestead is in North Carolina. We love it here! We live in the country but not too far from the city, and it’s the perfect distance between the beach and the mountains.
I love spending time with my family, either at home – playing games, having Nerf gun battles, wrestling (I am a boy mom, and love it!), camping outside – or adventuring outside the home – hiking, four-wheeling, and going to the beach. Having an organized and clean house to relax in after busy days is the best, especially when it does not involve taking hours away from family time to keep it that way. I’ve loved organizing since I was a little girl. I learned from one of the best – my Nana. Through this blog, I will share some cleaning and organizing tips and tricks that work for me and will hopefully work for you too!
I am also passionate about healthy living. I dealt with eczema for over 10 years. Throughout the past few years, I’ve learned and implemented some things that finally healed my eczema. Through my eczema healing journey, I’ve also been able to lose weight and maintain a healthy weight, as well as feel better overall.
I want my family to also live healthy, vibrant lives and not develop any health issues. Through this blog, I will share some natural remedies, healthy, real-food recipes, toxic-free household and beauty products, and other tips for overall health and wellness. I am not a doctor by any means, but a mom who researches and wants the best for her family. I am passionate about teaching others- whether teaching children how to read and add, or teaching moms (and maybe some dads too!) how to take the best care of their homes, bodies, and families.
Feel free to explore my blog and leave me comments with any questions or insights you have. I would love to hear from you and learn from you all too! You can subscribe to my blog to receive my updates and my free Weekly Cleaning Schedule.
