What personal data I collect and why I collect it
When you fill out the email opt-in box, you provide me with your email address. This is for me to know how to email you with important information and updates.
When you leave comments on the site, I collect the data shown in the comments form, and also your IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
I am not responsible for any personal information you choose to share in your comments.
When you contact me privately through the contact form, I collect your name and email address. This information is only for me to know who I am communicating with, what questions/comments I will respond to, and how to respond to you. I will not give any of your information to a third party or for marketing purposes.
If you leave a comment on the site you may opt-in to save your name and email address in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
Who I share your data with
When you fill out the email opt-in box, your email is sent to my email marketing software. I use the software to store email addresses and send you emails. Your email address will not be given to anyone else for any other purpose.
What rights you have over your data
If you have left comments or contacted me through the contact form, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data I hold about you, including any data you have provided to me. You can also request that I erase any personal data I hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
